The Goal

Vox Bank’s vision was to deliver a new e-money retail bank account targeting those underserved by
traditional banks, with modern onboarding, banking and money management tools

Problem : Over a million people in the UK do not have a bank account. As a result, these unbanked individuals pay a “poverty premium” of approximately £480 per year as they cannot access the special offers and discounts available to those who use existing banking services.

Objective : Appy VOX branding to the existing Omnicore Platform and improve the overall user experience of the platform

Identify Problems with Existing Design

UX Research

Layout issues – The present layout doesnt allow the user to view Sort code and Account No. on desktop

Visual hierachy– Inconsistency in the font weight and font used which will confuse the user on where to emphasize.

UI Issues– Button Labels are not centered in the bounding box

User Experience – Too many issues displayed to the user at the account summary

These solutions were communicated with the Engineering team and feedbacks were applied before moving on to the High Fidelity Designs.
