The Story

Showing up for children who need it most.

When Besstel Foundation — a charitable organisation committed to supporting vulnerable communities — approached Princhipeh about collaborating on a welfare drive, the answer was straightforward. Dzorwulu Special School, a government school in Accra that provides education and care for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, needed support. We were there.

Together, we put together a wide-ranging donation that reflected the real, practical needs of the school and its students. The package included a Franko television for the school, sportswear and clothing for children across year groups, specialist educational books on learning disabilities to support teachers and staff, fitness and recreational equipment, medical supplies, and toys for the youngest pupils. Every item was chosen with care — this was not a box-ticking exercise, but a deliberate act of giving.

The team also travelled to Optimum School in Kasoa Millennium City, where children received new clothing and spent time with the Besstel and Princhipeh teams. Seeing the students proudly wearing their new sportswear, gathered together for a group photograph — it was a moment that said more than any report could.

In June 2024, Princhipeh returned to Dzorwulu Special School — this time bringing freshly cooked meals for the students. Row upon row of packed food, prepared and delivered with care. Because this is not about a single visit. It is about building a relationship with a community, and coming back.

Every child deserves to be seen. Showing up — again and again — is how we make that real.
